A BRN is a number you can look up.

Property brokerage in Dubai is regulated by RERA under the Dubai Land Department. A brokerage holds an Office Registration Number (ORN) and every individual broker holds a Broker Registration Number (BRN). You can check a broker and an office through the Dubai Land Department and its Dubai REST channels before signing anything.

Ask any broker in this city for their BRN before you sign a Form A or a Form F. A broker who cannot give you one on the spot is telling you something. The UAE weekend is Saturday and Sunday, and Friday is a half day in most Dubai offices. Because viewings happen when clients are free, we keep the office open on Saturday by appointment and close on Sunday instead. Government counters, including the Dubai Land Department trustee offices, follow their own published hours — we confirm an appointment slot before we ask you to travel.
